Dublin’s Teeling is renowned for its Small Batch Irish whiskey, considered the flagship expression of the distillery. This exceptional whiskey is crafted using a blend of malt and grain whiskeys, which undergo initial aging in ex-Bourbon barrels. After this stage, the whiskey is then transferred to casks that had previously held Central American rum. Here, it is left to rest for an additional 12 months, imparting unique flavours to the whiskey. The final product is bottled at a potent 46% ABV, without undergoing any chill-filtration, resulting in a full-flavored whiskey that boasts fresh fruit notes, creamy vanilla, and lively spice undertones.
