GOING AHEAD AS PLANNED ON 10TH-11TH SEPTEMBER AT EICC
Dear Craft Spirit Lovers,
We are deeply saddened at the news of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passing, and we join the world in this time of national mourning.
With our Edinburgh events – The Gin To My Tonic Show & Craft Rum Show – due to take place this weekend, we are keen to reach out to confirm that these events will go ahead. These events remain open alongside the majority of the hospitality industry in Edinburgh and across the UK.
The small batch distillers exhibiting with us have been impacted heavily by Brexit, COVID and inflation and these events are life lines to them at such challenging financial times.
Although our events will go ahead this weekend, we will close on the day of Her Majesty’s Funeral in 10 days time, along with rest of the country out of respect and solidarity as we say goodbye to our beloved Queen.
We do hope you can still join this weekend as planned, but we respect that some may wish to pay their respects in their own ways, which is entirely at the discretion of our customers.
