At Runa, they are extremely environmentally friendly, following a responsible production process. Everything is ‘ecologically grown’ meaning no chemical additives. They recycle, use alternative sources of energy and make decisions on how to affect the environment in the least possible way.
The distillery is based in MockFjard in Varmland, Sweden, high up in the mountains which is famous for its grand forests, clear waters and where everything is hand crafted. The water used in the distillation process is tapped from deep inside a well of the famous Scandinavian mountains. The ethanol used at the beginning of the process is distilled up to 96% which is what makes it so pure, smooth and easy to drink.
