No.1 Fairham Ochre Edition

A tarty juniper-forward base, complimented with fresh zesty orange and sweet clementine. Subtle finishing notes of carefully blended warming spices.

Enjoy a 50ml measure in a glass filled with ice and Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water and garnish with fresh orange peel.

Where other distilleries boil their botanicals in the belly of the still, at No.1 Fairham Gin they extract the oils from the botanicals by vapour as they sit in a bespoke copper basket in the column of the copper still, with no botanicals or fruits touching the base alcohol. The ingredients used are delicate and they believe extracting the goodness from them using this process gives the gin a profile like no other.

To keep every bit of flavour in the gin they cut out the cosmetic stage of chill filtration. This means that all the natural oils are kept for you to enjoy and you will notice this in your glass as when the gin is chilled with ice or mixer, it will produce a pearlescent haze. This is the way we prefer it and is one of the things that is loved about this gin as it adds character to your flavour filled G&T.

“Combines a wealth of juniper with fresh orange, zesty clementine and autumnal spice. It is a dry, flavoursome gin with an enjoyable journey of flavour and an enticing balance of bright and initially subtly sweet citrus together with Autumnal, earthy and warming spice of ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon. With Tonic Water the richer, deeper citrus character is elevated and melds beautifully with the mellow spice and plentiful juniper for an impressive and moreish G&T.” – Paul Jackson
