Kinrara Distillery is a Scottish craft gin producer, set within the adventurous landscape of the Cairngorm National Park, just outside of Aviemore
The team are inspired by the beauty of the landscape and stories that surround them. Formerly a milking shed, their distillery is designed with the rich history of the area in mind.
Kinrara Highland Dry Gin is their signature creation, and is an absolute delight to boot! If you couldn’t picture the location in your mind, then the bottle design will most certainly help transport you there. The bottle design is a cooling blue, conjuring a fresh feeling, and that’s exactly what you have with this gin.
On the nose bright juniper and freshly expressed orange peel and rosehips are undercut with fresh pine needles. Whilst to taste, it has a robust juniper core entwined with citrus zest, with floral notes of rosehip bursting forth along with a very subtle cardamom spice. The finish is long, complex, with woodier notes of juniper fading into lemon and oranges.
As a perfect serve, go classic with a premium Indian Tonic and garnish of Orange. Then sit back, relax, and let this gin transport you to the highlands of Scotland.
