Isle of Man based Distillery, Fynoderee, have released an RNLI Edition Gin. Created in partnership with the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institute) to raise funds and commemorate 200 years since the Institution was founded on the Isle of Man.
This gin is quite simply glorious – crisp and aromatic it’s packed with earth juniper, pine and lemon zest on the nose. This opens up to welcome herbaceous fennel and coriander with a warm complex spice from nutmeg, orris and cardamom. A touch of ocean is brought to life by the addition of sugar kelp, distilled for the rich and lengthy umami tones that are as invigorating as the Irish Sea itself.

Distillery Co-founder Tiffany Kerruish explained the origins of the new Fynoderee RNLI Edition Gin:
“The idea to produce commemorative spirits came from members of RNLI Ramsey, our local lifeboat station. We recognised the unique provenance and potential to not only generate substantial funds for the RNLI for the historic anniversary, but also to provide the perfect tipples for raising a glass to all those who have saved lives at sea over the generations.”
