Elder Shee was our first product to be bottled in our beautifully embossed Fynoderee Distillery bottle. Our bespoke bottle features a celtic twist on the front shoulder (designed by local artist Julia Ashby-Smyth), ‘ISLE of MAN’ on the back shoulder and ‘FYNODEREE DISTILLERY’ in the base of the bottle. It is topped with a laser-etched cork bottle top which features our iconic Fynoderee swirl.

Fynoderee Manx Dry Gin Elder Shee Edition is a celebration of our Island’s many tangled tales of the mythical faeries who reside deep within the roots of the magical “Tramman” – the Manx word for Elder Tree. In Manx Gaelic, the word “Shee” means both faerie and peace.
No Manx person would dare cut down an elder tree for fear of angering the fae folk, which is why the Island enjoys such a glorious bloom of elderflowers in the summer months.
Elder Shee gin is distilled with elderflower, bringing heady floral notes that give way to the citrus tang of pink grapefruit and lemon, and herbal aromatics of lemon thyme and rosemary.
