Caorunn Gin
£24.95
Vendor: TGTMT
Caorunn Gin (pronounced Ka-roon) is a charming gin; a beautiful mix of rugged charm and urban sophistication, staying loyal to its Scottish origins.
There are 11 botanicals in total, 6 traditional and 5 hand-foraged, and these include Juniper berries, coriander seed, lemon peel, orange peel, angelica root, cassia bark, rowan berries, coul blush apple, heather, dandelion leaf and bog myrtle. The hand-foraged botanicals, particularly the rowan berry are extremely important to this gin, so much so that the name is the Gaelic word for Rowan Berry.
To drink neat Caorunn is well balanced with touches of sweetness, warmth and almost a fruity profile. As a Gin & Tonic this theme continues, but further flavours are released creating a drink that’s very easy to enjoy. It’s fresh, clean with fruit and herbs, with a dry finish and a little spice.
