Using their knowledge and expertise in the whisky arena, the team at Caorunn Gin applied this to gin distillation and aimed to create a premium, small batch gin, handcrafted in Scotland which pulled on age old distillation techniques yet presented itself in a thoroughly modern & contemporary way through its packaging and flavour profile. The Copper Berry Chamber is used to extract the flavours from six traditional and five Celtic locally foraged botanicals (Rowan Berries, Heather, Coul Blush Apples, Dandelion and Bog Myrtle) to ensure a flavoursome, well balanced gin.

Their Scottish Raspberry Gin, Caorunn’s first ever flavoured expression, is handcrafted with Perthshire Raspberries and bottled at a full strength of 41.8% ABV.

The invigorating dry, crisp taste of Caorunn is enhanced by a natural raspberry sweetness and, on the nose, there is a blast of raspberry fruitiness with lingering vanilla softness. The flavour is distinctively fruity, with the tartness of rowan to the fore. The finish has a pleasing mouthfeel with bright, clean, fresh flavours lingering on the tongue.
