An ancient legend tells of a woman who created a special cake to try to win the heart of a handsome Prince. Her romantic offering combined the most prized ingredients, including rose water and sweet pistachios. Opinion varies as to whether she won the Prince’s love, but her legacy lives on and Persian love cakes are baked to this day.
