Created with the heart and backbone of a classic London dry, it’s rich grown-up spirit made with a unique blend of seven beautiful botanicals! Taking its name from ancient Greek, ‘Achroous’ (meaning colourless) is produced at the Tower Street Stillhouse in Leith and shares its distillery as a cooperative with Port of Leith Distillery (makers of Lind and Lime).
Achroous is carefully designed to be different, while maintaining the distinct character of gin. Juniper and coriander, as well as orris, liquorice and angelica roots, make up the gin’s backbone, with fennel seed and Sichuan peppercorn rounding out the short bill. The result is a gin with resinous juniper base, and earthy floral aroma and a rich, spiced sweetness on the palate.
