Whittaker’s Distillery is family owned and run and is is nestled amidst the wild, rugged, rolling pastures of Nidderdale.  A unique distillery in an iconic setting,

Whittaker’s captures the essence of the surrounding landscape to create international award winning spirits and whisky inspired by nature producing the very finest quality expressions for your ultimate appreciation.

Their London dry gins are small batch distilled and the water used in the products is drawn on site having filtered through the granite and limestone off the moors.

A Whittaker’s Distillery Tour is your chance to enjoy an immersive experience and get a behind the scenes look at a working distillery producing internationally award-winning gins and now whisky.

THE GIN TO MY TONIC THOUGHTS

Whittaker’s Distillery is a modern, purpose built distillery adjoining a converted 1950’s Pig Shed.  Whilst this may not sound a glamourous location,  the care an attention that has gone in to the conversion is to the same high standard as you’d expect from the spirits produced on site.  So you can look forward to a high level of hospitality when attending any of the wonderful experiences on offer!

A point of interest is their beautifully kept 100 litre Stills, imported from Bourbon Country in Kentucky which form a large part of any tour you indulge in.

Distillery tours are undertaken in small groups of up to 12 so there is a genuine personal touch alongside an informative and convivial atmosphere.

A must do should you find yourself in this breath taking, rugged landscape.
