In early 2013, John Cherry and Cynthia King stepped off a plane from NYC, and started Locksley Distilling Co. Ltd in John’s parents’ house in Sheffield. What began as one person in an attic, grew into a team of eight, operating from their distillery in Portland Works, a grade 2* listed building.
The small but passionate team have been bringing the unexpected to the spirits world ever since. Never happy to give you a tipple that you can find elsewhere, the team thrives on finding a unique twist to make their products quirky and memorable.

With a maximum of 8 people for gin school, and 10 for cocktails it’s always a personal and interactive experience. An incredibly relaxed atmosphere, it never feels scripted or corporate.
