Atlas Bar is something of a Manchester icon, situated in the railway arches of Deansgate station.
Mark and Elaine Wrigley took over the bar in 2012, and it has matured into an inviting quality bar with personality, specialising in gin from all over the world.
With over 570, at the last count, Atlas offers by far the biggest variety of Gin in Manchester City Centre, and also serves their own Premium Small Batch London Dry, Old Tom, Pink Edition, and Manchester Strength. The Manchester Strength combines 19 botanicals from across the world, and at 53.4% abv, (the latitude line that the bar sits on), whether you’re a red or a blue, it’s the gin for you!
Atlas Bar are proud of their team, who are regularly recognised for their fantastic, and welcoming, service. They’ve also won Best Spirits Bar North West, Best Bar Team North West, been a finalist in The Great British Pub Awards, and won The design My Night Best Beer Garden Award.
The bar is decorated in keeping with its industrial heritage, and offers a private, south-facing, heated and covered, outside terrace. Perfect for enjoying a gin and tonic, gin paddle board, breakfast, brunch, or lunch. It really is a green oasis, hidden in the city centre.
Atlas Bar offers a shop where they stock an array of unusual gins that you can purchase at the bar.
